External transducers
External Cleanable Vacuum Transducer
The PT-VI Basic Platform comes with two built-in vacuum transducers. As an option, one or two external cleanable transducer(s) can also be fitted to the external analogue input connector(s) and analyse up to four vacuum signals simultaneously.
The external cleanable stainless steel vacuum transducer is resistant to the various media found in milking parlours, making it ideal for measurements during milking. These transducers can be cleaned under a running tap after use. The sensors have an M12 connector and can be connected to the PT-VI’s external analogue input with the M12/M12 cables described in 4a.
Temperature Probe
The Temperature probe measures the temperature and displays the value as a static digit on the screen or records temperature fluctuations over an unspecified period of time. Temperature range is from 0 to 100 °C (Metrics) or 32 to 220 °F (English)
The Temperature probe has an M12 connector and can be connected to the PT-VI’s external analogue input with the M12/M12 cables described in 4a. The Temperature probe is used in combination with the Temperature measurement app (see 2g).
